Test Information Program

Data is taken from the driving test where an ADI's personal reference number is recorded.

This is carried out over a rolling 12-month period.

There are 4 Parameters to the data recorded.
These include:-

Average Pass Rate

The parameters for this category are set at 55% or Lower

Average Driving Faults

The parameters set for this category are set at 6 or greater

Average Serious Faults

The parameters set for this category are set at 0.55 or greater

Average Examiner Takes Action (physical)

The parameters set for this category are set at 10% or greater

How the Trigger system works.

* If an instructor triggers 3 or more parameters over a 12 month period, the DVSA will invite you for a Standards Check.
* Before taking the Standards Check you will be offered a voluntary engagement call.



The Engagement Call

Will provide the opportunity to discuss the up-coming Standards Check.
Will go through your data report.
By going through the data report with you, it may highlight areas where you should consider making improvements.
You should seek professional development where necessary and appropriate.
The DVSA will answer any questions or queries you may have regarding the Standards Check.

Getting hold of the data that the DVSA hold on you from your driving test results.

Driving instructors can request the data that the DVSA hold from test that have been carried out over the past 12 months.

NAME
PERSONAL REFERENCE NUMBER (PRN)
